Lighting Feedback and Foliage

Feedback I received really hammered on my lighting, so that's what needs to be fixed.  I got more colors back, and setup some lighting areas.  Water tanks are placed around the facility.  This week, I'm hoping to iterate more on foliage, establish better lighting, and hopefully get a start on a skybox.

Feedback Update pt1 and maybe handpainted future practice?!

I started watching Handpainting Tutorials today.  I feel that it's in my best interest to explore that route and to look into a CGMA class for that.  Maybe this weekend I'll take a crack at a quick prop exercise.  Until then, here's my latest update with security cameras, fences, ladders, and some material updates to the ground.  After receiving some feedback from an individual, I jumped back to my moodboard and felt that I did stray a bit from my images.  I need to keep my refs open more often and not be a scrub lolerskates.

Radar Asset and Post Process Adjustments

Finally got around to finishing a version of the Radar Dishes! I also tweaked some post process effects to acheive the current state.  I ran into lightmap issues, so I removed some foliage for now.  I'm going to have to work on blending the ground and the foliage more.  Maybe it's time I reach out to Jeremy, and see if his insight from Uncharted can help...

Lighting Pass

After watching the CGMA Live Webinar with Kurt Kusper and Clinton Crumpler, I choose to work on lighting in my UE4 scene.  I got to a result that I'm satisfied with for now.  I also updated my lightmaps, and I'm getting better results.  This weekend, I need to stop procrastinating on the Dish.  It's too important of an asset to put off any longer!

Shader Complexity and some Trees

Took a look at my shader complexity, need to investigate the grass plane setups.  Everything else feels okay.  The blue-ish images are lightmap complexity.  That's gonna need some work.  Tomorrow I will make tree stump and work on lighting.
